Meals on Wheels of Wake County is looking for a part time driver to help deliver meals to food insecure seniors throughout our county. Shifts begin at 7.30am Monday-Friday delivering boxes of frozen meals to our participants in rural parts of the county. ** Drivers use a company van or truck with freezer to make deliveries **
Part Time: 1 to 3 shifts per week Monday - Friday ( 6-24 hours / week)

Our staff drivers are an integral part of our program, helping us to deliver “more than a meal” to seniors that participate in our program. The ideal client will have a passion for working with seniors and be patient and respectful. Many of our clients have mobility issues that require allowing extra time and calling to give them notice when you are nearby. This position requires the ability to value diversity, equity, and inclusion as well as to interact with constituencies from a range of backgrounds.
