Corporate Partners

Would your business or organization like to partner with us to help our senior neighbors in need?

There are many ways that you can help us fulfill our mission to provide a meal and companionship for homebound seniors. Our two greatest needs are for volunteers and private funding.
Here are some ways that you and your colleagues can help Meals on Wheels of Wake County:
  • Employees can volunteer to deliver meals.  This typically takes about an hour and you can select one day a week or one day a month - whatever works best for your schedule.  We have several pick-up sites located throughout Wake County that you can deliver from.
  • Can't commit to a regular delivery schedule? Then perhaps a one time "team building" event is right for you.  Pick one day and we can reserve several routes for you, depending on the location you select. A staff member will help you plan the experience.
  • Adopt a senior dining room for our annual Holiday Party.  Every year, in early December, we host a holiday party at each of our 8 dining rooms.  We look for a sponsor for each dining room to underwrite the cost of the meals and provide a small gift for the senior participants. You are invited to attend the party too!
  • Donations can directly provide meals for seniors neighbors.  Here's an idea of how your donation can help: $140 provides meals for one person for one month; $840 provides meals for six months; $1,700 provides meals for one year for one person.
  • Compile breakfast bags for our clients.  This can be done right in your office.  Each bag contains a juicebox, a fruit cocktail cup, a package of instant oatmeal, and a nutrigrain bar. Bring the completed bags to our office and we will deliver them.
  • Perhaps you can think of other ways you and your employees can help.
